Monte Jade West Science and Technology Association, in collaboration with SVTA (Silicon Valley Taiwan Angel), hosted a fun and mentally stimulating event at Alexander Steakhouse in Cupertino on February 8. The highlight of the morning was a dynamic panel discussion on Cross-Generational Entrepreneurship, moderated by Steve Hsia, Co-founder & Chairman of Playnovate and Board Member of Monte Jade West.
We were honored to feature three leading figures in the tech industry: Dr. Pehong Chen, Chairman of BroadVision Group; Dr. Hsing Kung, Former Co-Founder of Innolight, Luxnet, SDL, and Pine Photonics; and Mark Lee, CEO & Chief Evangelist of Splashtop. Their combined enterprise value exceeded billions during its peak. Representing three distinct eras of Silicon Valley innovation, our panelists delved into timeless principles of entrepreneurship while exploring how evolving technology and societal shifts are reshaping modern leadership and entrepreneurial journeys.
The event turned out fantastic. During our two hours of intense and highly interactive discussion, no one left the room for a bathroom or coffee break. It was a two-hour engaging and emotional conversation about the unwavering passion and hard work of Asian American entrepreneurship in Silicon Valley.
